Marcia Williams has been spreading her love of her native Jamaican cuisine throughout Greensboro for years, but she kicked her profile up a notch last year when she switched from catering to a food truck.

The Jamaica Coast Catering food truck now keeps her on the road most days of the week, not only in Greensboro and the Triad but as far away as South Carolina..

Cooking at an early age

Marcia's Mother introduced her to the kitchen at the age of 12. She started whipping up meals on Sunday afternoons.  Marcia was born and raised in Jamaica and immigrated to New York at the age of 19. 

catering to building dreams

​It was a natural path for Marcia to branch out into the catering world in New York, after years of cooking for her large family. She catered in New York for nearly 20 years. 

Chef Marcia moved in North Carolina to raise her family. She continued catering and became well known in the Greensboro area since 2007.  Her part time passion became a full time dream when she went mobile with Jamaican Coast Catering/JCC Food Truck in November of 2020.
